Integral Child/baby Seats

Hi, just recently bought a 1999 Galaxy 2.3 Zetec and I am buggered if I can adjust the straps on the pull down baby seats. I have undone the velcro and found the plastic panel but I cannot see where the straps can be adjusted. HELP!!!

Straps are sprung loaded, look for the button under the head rest on top of the seat, without child in the seat pressing this button should allow the springs to retract the straps.

 

 

This mechanism seems to work better on some seats than others though, if the belts don't retract check that they aren't twisted. They never seem to work as well when seat is occupied. The springs seem to degrade with use and if used a lot they dont retract very well. We used ours after having set the length correctly, without adjusting for weeks on end (unless occupant has particularly bulky clothes on)
